I know I'm not out here hiring artists so it's not for me, but as someone who likes looking at other people's art, at this point I'd take inaccessible self-hosted portfolios to still-inaccessible-anyway portfolios on Instagram clones.

I don't have it in me to make a longer post right now... But the Reddit strike is a good thing. Reddit being the best place to find information is not an ideal, and things moving to their own communities will be a positive. This is exactly why keeping all communities on a single (increasingly inaccessible) website, that could go down at any moment, is a bad thing - just look at Twitter.
