I’ve been wondering about maybe distributing the tools I built for my extensive video collection. It’s still a “maybe”, as the bulk of the functionality runs through the static site generator Eleventy, which is a bit more complicated than it’s worth for most of my hobbyist indie web friends. But, I suppose I could write a Javascript fork that could run on a single page?

The next riddle is how on earth I can use my website to distribute my cross-platform music collection in any meaningful way, if only 30-ish YouTube embeds creates a nearly unloadable page...

Any ideas on how I could share a shitload, I mean a shitload of video links on my personal website? (I have something like 300+ bookmarks in videos alone.)

• A Lot Of Embeds might be fraught?
• YouTube playlists are ok? but liable to be fucked with. esp videos I liked that got reclassified as YouTube Kids
• Might split them up by category?

This is something I will probably just have to bullshit as I go along but I thought I’d ask in case anyone else has gone down this path. I have honestly never really seen anyone collecting videos on their personal site, just those massive unorganized on-site playlists
